TlsConnectionReuse

Struct TlsConnectionReuse

pub struct TlsConnectionReuse
{ /* private fields */ }
Available on crate feature rustls only.
Expand description

Reuse rules published by the connector that performed a TLS handshake.

Capture request overrides before applying connector defaults, and publish only after a successful handshake. Pools borrow the next request’s extensions to check compatibility; callers need not configure the provider on the pool. Connector defaults, including credentials and hooks, remain fixed for the lifetime of its pool. Custom components supply stable value or instance identities.

Implementations§

§

impl
TlsConnectionReuse

where P: TlsClientConfigProvider + 'static,

pub fn new(provider: P, request: &Extensions) -> TlsConnectionReuse

Available on crate feature boring only.

Capture request overrides relative to this connector’s fixed defaults.

pub fn tunnel(provider: P, request: &Extensions) -> TlsConnectionReuse

Available on crate feature boring only.

Capture fixed proxy TLS policy, independently of origin TLS overrides.

The pool’s route key identifies the proxy. Caller-supplied tunnel settings must match on later requests; route-generated settings remain fixed for that route and are distinct from the caller’s overrides.

pub fn publish(self, connection: &Extensions)

Available on crate feature boring only.

Publish this handshake’s rules while retaining restrictions from inner layers.
