Struct RecorderHealth
pub struct RecorderHealth(/* private fields */);Available on crate feature
dial9 only.Expand description
Recorder health for an application’s metrics exporter or diagnostics bundle.
Pass sink to the upstream recorder builder’s metrics sink.
Nothing is installed globally. Reading this handle performs no disk I/O.
Create a fresh health handle for each recorder session.
The flush/processing threads update atomics; application event recording does no additional work. This consumes dial9 0.5’s metric field names and should be checked when upgrading dial9. It covers the counters listed here, not every upstream metric or every possible write failure.

§fn append(&self, entry: BoxEntry)
fn append(&self, entry: BoxEntry)
Append the
entry to the in-memory buffer. Unless this is explicitly a test sink, the append() call must
never block and must never panic. Test sinks are encouraged to immediately panic on invalid entries. Production
sinks should emit a tracing event when invalid entries are found. Read more§fn flush_async(&self) -> FlushWait ⓘ

Request the sink to flush its contents to some sort of persistent storage. The returned
FlushWait can be used to tell when the sink is flushed. Read more§fn append_on_drop(&self, entry: E) -> AppendOnDrop<E, Self>
