Struct ClientHelloReassemblyConfig
pub struct ClientHelloReassemblyConfig { /* private fields */ }tls only.Expand description
Bounds for reassembling the first record-framed ClientHello.
Defaults allow 256 KiB (including the four-byte handshake header) across 256 records. Memory grows with received bytes, never a peer’s declaration. Plaintext record payloads must still be nonempty and at most 16 KiB. These limits do not apply to bare ClientHello bodies or QUIC messages.
Implementations§
§impl ClientHelloReassemblyConfig
impl ClientHelloReassemblyConfig
pub fn with_max_handshake_size(self, size: usize) -> ClientHelloReassemblyConfig
Available on crate feature boring only.
pub fn with_max_handshake_size(self, size: usize) -> ClientHelloReassemblyConfig
boring only.Set the maximum handshake bytes, including its four-byte header. Defaults to 256 KiB. Values below four reject every hello; values above the TLS 24-bit length plus four have no additional effect.
pub fn set_max_handshake_size(
&mut self,
size: usize,
) -> &mut ClientHelloReassemblyConfig
Available on crate feature boring only.
pub fn set_max_handshake_size( &mut self, size: usize, ) -> &mut ClientHelloReassemblyConfig
boring only.Set the maximum handshake bytes, including its four-byte header. Defaults to 256 KiB. Values below four reject every hello; values above the TLS 24-bit length plus four have no additional effect.
pub fn with_max_records(self, count: usize) -> ClientHelloReassemblyConfig
Available on crate feature boring only.
pub fn with_max_records(self, count: usize) -> ClientHelloReassemblyConfig
boring only.Set the maximum records contributing to the first handshake. Defaults to 256. Zero rejects every hello.
pub fn set_max_records(
&mut self,
count: usize,
) -> &mut ClientHelloReassemblyConfig
Available on crate feature boring only.
pub fn set_max_records( &mut self, count: usize, ) -> &mut ClientHelloReassemblyConfig
boring only.Set the maximum records contributing to the first handshake. Defaults to 256. Zero rejects every hello.
pub fn with_require_matching_record_version(
self,
required: bool,
) -> ClientHelloReassemblyConfig
Available on crate feature boring only.
pub fn with_require_matching_record_version( self, required: bool, ) -> ClientHelloReassemblyConfig
boring only.Require every record’s legacy version to equal the first one’s. Defaults to false for interoperability: TLS 1.3 ignores this field (RFC 8446 §5.1). Every record must still use a recognized TLS version.
pub fn set_require_matching_record_version(
&mut self,
required: bool,
) -> &mut ClientHelloReassemblyConfig
Available on crate feature boring only.
pub fn set_require_matching_record_version( &mut self, required: bool, ) -> &mut ClientHelloReassemblyConfig
boring only.Require every record’s legacy version to equal the first one’s. Defaults to false for interoperability: TLS 1.3 ignores this field (RFC 8446 §5.1). Every record must still use a recognized TLS version.
