Struct Rewind
pub struct Rewind<T> { /* private fields */ }Available on crate feature
std only.Expand description
Combine a buffer with an IO, rewinding reads to use the buffer.
The read that drains the buffer also tries one inner read when there is room left, so the buffer need not be a short read of its own.
Implementations§
§impl<T> Rewind<T>
impl<T> Rewind<T>
pub fn new_buffered(io: T, buf: Bytes) -> Rewind<T>
pub fn into_inner(self) -> (T, Bytes)
pub fn into_inner(self) -> (T, Bytes)
Split into the inner io and the unread buffer.
A read error already hit on the inner io is dropped,
use Self::into_parts to keep it.
pub fn into_parts(self) -> (T, Bytes, Option<Error>)
pub fn into_parts(self) -> (T, Bytes, Option<Error>)
Split into the inner io, the unread buffer and a read error already hit on the inner io, which is due after the buffer and before any further inner read.
pub fn from_parts(io: T, buf: Bytes, read_err: Option<Error>) -> Rewind<T>
pub fn from_parts(io: T, buf: Bytes, read_err: Option<Error>) -> Rewind<T>
Inverse of Self::into_parts: reads return buf,
then read_err if any, then the inner io.
pub fn get_mut(&mut self) -> &mut T

fn peek_io_mut(&mut self) -> &mut <T as PeekIoProvider>::PeekIo
Retrieve a mutable reference to the Peekable type.

Once peeking is finished one can reproduce
self
by mapping the Peeked Io type and produce a new type,
