Enum SettingsError
pub enum SettingsError {
Duplicate(SettingId),
Forbidden(SettingId),
TooMany,
Malformed,
}Available on crate features
http and std only.Expand description
An error encountered while validating or decoding HTTP/3 settings (RFC 9114 §7.2.4.1).
Duplicate and forbidden identifiers map to H3_SETTINGS_ERROR; malformed frame layout maps
to H3_FRAME_ERROR (RFC 9114 §7.1), and exceeding a local budget maps to H3_EXCESSIVE_LOAD.
Variants§
Duplicate(SettingId)
The same identifier appeared twice (including unknown identifiers).
Forbidden(SettingId)
An HTTP/2-forbidden identifier (0x00, 0x02–0x05) was present.
TooMany
More entries than the configured budget.
Malformed
The payload was truncated or otherwise not a valid identifier/value sequence.
